TUF A16 16" FHD 165Hz gaming laptop

The ASUS TUF A16 is a 16.0 inch Windows 11 Pro laptop built around an 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS processor and dedicated Radeon RX7600S V8G graphics. It ships with 16GB of DDR5 4800 memory and a 1TB PCIe SSD. The 1920 x 1080 display runs at 165 Hz and the keyboard features RGB backlighting.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This machine suits gamers and creators who want a high-refresh FHD panel, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity in a portable chassis. Buyers who need a higher resolution screen, more than 16GB of system memory or a faster wired LAN connection than 10/100Mbps should consider other options.

The spec that decides fit

The 165 Hz FHD display combined with the Radeon RX7600S V8G graphics card is the defining specification; it determines whether the laptop can deliver the frame rates your favourite titles demand at native resolution.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and what must I buy separately?

The laptop ships with a 165 Hz FHD display, Ryzen 7 7735HS processor, Radeon RX7600S V8G graphics, 16 GB DDR5 4800 memory, 1 TB PCIe SSD, Windows 11 Pro, RGB backlit keyboard, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, 720p HD camera, HDMI port, combo audio jack, four USB ports and a 32 GB USB card. No extra components are required for basic operation.

Which configuration choice matters most for this model?

This SKU is a single fixed configuration: 16 GB DDR5 4800 RAM, 1 TB PCIe SSD, 16.0 inch 1920 x 1080 165 Hz panel, 8-core Ryzen 7 7735HS and Radeon RX7600S V8G graphics. There are no alternative capacities or versions to select.

What does the 165 Hz refresh rate mean in daily use?

The 16.0 inch FHD panel redraws the image up to 165 times per second, so fast-paced games and quick desktop motion look smoother than on standard 60 Hz screens, provided the Radeon RX7600S V8G can push frame rates that high.
