Built for mobile gaming

The ASUS TUF Dash 15 (2022) combines a 15.6 inch 144Hz FHD IPS panel with an Intel Core i7-12650H processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 laptop GPU. Sixteen gigabytes of 4800MHz DDR5 memory and a 512GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD provide fast load times for modern titles. Windows 11 Home runs on the 10-core CPU with 24MB cache and up to 4.7 GHz boost.

Integration and expansion

Thunderbolt 4 ports handle external displays, storage and docks while freeing internal space. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 deliver wireless connectivity without extra adapters. The 512GB SSD leaves room for a second M.2 drive if the library grows. Military-grade MIL-STD-810H testing means the chassis survives vibration, humidity and temperature swings during transport.

Sustained load behaviour

Dual self-cleaning Arc Flow fans with anti-dust technology keep airflow steady during long sessions. A MUX Switch routes GPU frames straight to the display, reducing latency and maintaining higher average frame rates. The RTX 3060 operates at 1050W with Dynamic Boost, so clock speeds hold under extended gaming or rendering workloads.

Questions about this item

Will the 16 GB of DDR5 memory be enough for modern games and streaming at the same time?

The 16 GB DDR5 module running at 4800 MHz handles current titles and background streaming tasks without bottlenecking the i7-12650H processor.

Does the 512 GB SSD leave room for a large game library or should I plan a second drive?

The 512 GB PCIe NVMe M.2 drive fits several AAA titles, but a second M.2 slot is available if you want to expand later.

Can the 144 Hz panel make full use of the RTX 3060 in competitive shooters?

Yes, the 144 Hz 1920 x 1080 IPS display paired with the MUX Switch lets the RTX 3060 push high frame rates directly to the screen.
