ASUS TUF F16 gaming laptop 16" FHD+ 165Hz i5-13450HX RTX 5050 64GB 2TB

ASUS TUF F16 16" 165Hz Gaming Laptop

The ASUS TUF F16 is a 16-inch gaming laptop built around an Intel Core i5-13450HX 10-core processor that runs from 2.4GHz up to 4.6GHz. It pairs that CPU with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 laptop GPU equipped with 8GB GDDR6 video memory. The display is a 16.0" FHD+ panel at 1920 x 1200 resolution with a 165Hz refresh rate. Memory is 64GB DDR5 and storage is a 2TB PCIe SSD. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed.

Suits 165Hz competitive play; not for 4K

This machine suits players who want high frame rates at 1920 x 1200 on a 165Hz screen and need 64GB of memory for multitasking or content work. The 10-core i5-13450HX and RTX 5050 combination handles modern titles at high settings. Buyers targeting 4K gaming, higher refresh rates beyond 165Hz, or a larger colour gamut should look at other models.

Deciding spec: RTX 5050 8GB GDDR6

The single specification that decides fit is the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 with 8GB GDDR6. It defines the graphical ceiling for this chassis. If your workload needs more VRAM or a higher GPU tier, this is not the right part. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, Thunderbolt 4 with DisplayPort 2.1, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, USB 3.2 Type-C with DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.1 FRL.
