ATX board for 10th Gen Intel Core with DDR4 to 4600 MHz, WiFi 6, dual M.2 and 1 Gb Ethernet
The ASUS TUF GAMING Z490-PLUS (WI-FI) is an ATX motherboard built for 10th Gen Intel Core, Pentium Gold and Celeron processors using the LGA 1200 socket. It targets gamers and system builders who want a durable platform with military-grade TUF components and a 12+2 DrMOS power stage design. The board uses the Intel Z490 chipset and includes integrated Intel WiFi 6 and 1Gb Ethernet.
Memory capacity scales to 128 GB over four 288-pin DDR4 slots running in dual-channel mode. The board validates a wide range of overclocked speeds up to 4600 MHz and native speeds down to 2133 MHz depending on the installed CPU. This single specification determines whether your chosen memory kit will run at its rated frequency without manual tuning.
The primary M.2 slot accepts 2242, 2260, 2280 and 22110 drives while the second takes 2242, 2260 and 2280 drives; both operate in PCIe 3.0 x4 or SATA modes. Six SATA 6Gb/s ports support RAID 0/1/5/10. Rear I/O supplies USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A and Type-C, and a front-panel USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C header is provided for case connectivity.

The board can run DDR4 modules at up to 4600 MHz when overclocked; actual speed depends on the CPU and memory kit used.
Both M.2 slots run over PCIe 3.0 x4, limiting each drive to 32 Gbps maximum bandwidth.
Standard ATX dimensions require a case with ATX motherboard standoffs and an I/O shield cut-out.
