System Overview

This ASUS TUF GT301 desktop ships as a complete gaming system with Windows 11 Home installed. It targets players and creators who want a ready-to-run machine built around a 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor and an RTX 5070 graphics card with 12GB GDDR7 memory. The 240mm liquid cooler keeps the CPU at its 4.3GHz base frequency under sustained loads. Components brands may vary inside the chassis.

Storage Configuration

A 4TB NVMe SSD provides the primary volume for the operating system and active titles while a 2TB SATA III hard drive adds bulk capacity for media archives and backups. The NVMe interface delivers sequential throughput far above SATA limits so game load times stay short. Builders who need more storage than the combined 6TB will have to add drives themselves because no extra bays or M.2 slots are confirmed in the data.

Memory Decision

The board carries 64GB of DDR5 across four populated slots leaving no free DIMM positions for simple expansion. Buyers who anticipate memory demands above this level should choose a different platform because upgrading would require replacing the existing kit entirely. The DDR5 standard used here is not compatible with any earlier DDR generation so module selection must match exactly.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 4TB NVMe or the 2TB HDD for my main games library?

Install the operating system and active titles on the 4TB NVMe for fast load times, and use the 2TB SATA III HDD for bulk storage and less-played games.

What does the 4.3 GHz base clock on the Ryzen 9 9950X3D mean for everyday gaming?

The 16-core processor runs at 4.3 GHz out of the box, giving strong single-thread speed for high frame rates while the extra cores handle background tasks and streaming.

Does the PCI Express x16 slot limit the RTX 5070 in any way?

The graphics card connects through a full PCI Express x16 link, so the GPU can use its 12GB GDDR7 memory and 5070-class performance without interface bottlenecks.
