ASUS TUF GT301 Ryzen 7 9700X Desktop

The ASUS TUF GT301 is a new gaming desktop built around an AMD Ryzen 7 9700X 8-core processor running at 3.8GHz. It pairs the CPU with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card equipped with 12GB of GDDR7 memory. The system includes 64GB of DDR5 RAM, a 4TB NVMe SSD, and a 2TB SATA III hard drive, all powered by an 850W supply and cooled by a 240mm liquid cooler. Windows 11 Home comes pre-installed.

Suits 4K gamers and creators needing fast storage

This configuration suits players targeting high-refresh 1440p or 4K gaming and content creators who benefit from 64GB of DDR5 memory and a large 4TB NVMe boot drive. The 2TB secondary drive adds bulk capacity for media libraries. Buyers who want more storage bays, a different GPU tier, or a smaller chassis should look at other models. Component brands may vary from the images shown.

240mm liquid cooler handles sustained 8-core loads

Under prolonged workloads the 240mm liquid cooler keeps the Ryzen 7 9700X at stable temperatures, allowing the 8-core CPU to maintain its 3.8GHz base frequency without thermal throttling. The 850W power supply delivers consistent headroom for the RTX 5070 and full system draw during extended rendering or gaming sessions. DDR5 memory bandwidth supports sustained throughput for multitasking and heavy asset streaming.

Questions about this item

Do I need to buy a monitor, keyboard and mouse separately to use the ASUS TUF GT301 Ryzen 7 9700X RTX 5070 desktop?

Yes, the system ships as a tower only; you must provide your own display, keyboard and mouse to operate it.

Will my existing SATA III hard drives and DDR5 memory modules work alongside the installed 2TB HDD and 64GB DDR5 in this PC?

The motherboard includes SATA III ports for additional hard drives and four DDR5 slots, so compatible drives and memory can be added.

How can I verify the liquid cooler and RTX 5070 are running correctly after first boot?

Enter the BIOS to confirm the 240mm cooler is detected and the GPU appears at PCI Express x16, then check GPU-Z for the 12GB GDDR7 memory.
