ASUS TUF GT501 Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 Gaming Desktop

This ASUS TUF GT501 desktop pairs a Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 16-core processor at 4.3GHz with an NVIDIA RTX 5060 graphics card. It includes 64GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB NVMe SSD. A 240mm liquid cooler manages thermals inside the black chassis. The system ships with Windows 11 Home installed and features RGB lighting.

RTX 5060 8GB GDDR7 Graphics Practical Limits

The RTX 5060 provides 8GB of GDDR7 video memory for 1440p gaming workloads. The 750W power supply delivers stable energy to the GPU and 16-core CPU combination. Integrated audio and 2.5G Ethernet handle baseline connectivity needs. Wireless networking is included for cable-free setups.

Upgrade Path From Mid-Range Gaming Systems

This build replaces older desktops limited to 8-core processors or 16GB memory configurations. The 64GB DDR5 capacity and 16-core architecture suit content creators who also game. Buyers needing multi-GPU support or larger storage arrays should evaluate expansion options separately. The AM5 platform allows future processor upgrades within the same socket.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 1TB NVMe or add a second drive for games?

The 1 TB NVMe SSD holds the OS and a solid game library; a second drive is only needed if you keep very large media collections.

What does the Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 4.3 GHz 16-core actually deliver in daily use?

Sixteen cores at 4.3 GHz give smooth 4K gaming and fast multi-threaded workloads like rendering or streaming without bottlenecks.

How does the 2.5G Ethernet port limit my wired network speed?

The 2.5 GbE link caps wired throughput at 2.5 Gbps, so it matches multi-gig internet plans and fast local transfers.
