System purpose

The ASUS TUF GT502 is a liquid-cooled gaming desktop built around a 12-core AMD Ryzen 9 9900X processor running at 4.4GHz. It targets players who want a ready-to-use Windows 11 machine for high-refresh 1440p or 4K gaming and content creation without assembling parts themselves.

Thermals power noise

A 240mm liquid cooler handles the CPU while an 850W power supply feeds the NVIDIA RTX 5070 Ti graphics card with 16GB GDDR7 memory. The combination keeps thermals stable during extended sessions and limits fan noise compared with air-cooled alternatives in the same chassis.

Bundled impact

The 1TB NVMe SSD and 64GB DDR5 memory across four slots leave all DIMM positions free for future upgrades. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed so the system boots straight to the desktop, and the Wi-Fi radio plus RGB lighting work out of the box with no extra configuration required.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 240mm liquid cooler and what step is often missed?

The 240mm liquid cooler comes pre-installed on the Ryzen 9 9900X; the step people miss is removing the shipping brackets that hold the radiator and pump in place before first boot.

What maintenance or replacement will the 240mm liquid cooler need later?

The sealed 240mm liquid cooler requires no coolant refills; plan to clean radiator fins and replace fans if noise increases after several years of use.

What limit appears first on the Ryzen 9 9900X under sustained loads with the 240mm liquid cooler?

The 240mm liquid cooler will hit its thermal dissipation ceiling first, causing the 12-core Ryzen 9 9900X to throttle before the 850W power supply reaches its limit.
