ASUS TUF GT502 Ryzen 9 9950X Gaming Desktop

This ASUS TUF GT502 is a new gaming desktop PC built around a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processor running at 4.3GHz. It pairs the CPU with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card featuring 16GB GDDR7 memory. The system includes 64GB DDR5 RAM and a 1TB NVMe SSD, all powered by an 850W supply with a 240mm liquid cooler.

Ideal for high-refresh 1440p

Buyers needing a compact form factor or a lower power draw should consider other options. This desktop occupies a full tower footprint and draws substantial power under load. Users who want a smaller chassis, quieter air cooling, or a system optimised for portable LAN events will not find those attributes here.

16-core Ryzen 9 9950X with 240mm liquid cooling

The processor delivers 16 cores at a 4.3GHz base frequency and is cooled by a 240mm liquid cooler mounted in the GT502 chassis. This thermal solution is designed to sustain high frequencies during extended gaming or rendering sessions. Verify that your workspace accommodates a mid-tower case with a 240mm radiator before purchasing.

Questions about this item

How is the 240mm liquid cooler installed on the Ryzen 9 9950X, and what step is often missed?

The cooler mounts to the AM5 socket using the supplied bracket; the step people miss is removing the protective film from the cold-plate before securing the four thumbscrews.

What maintenance will the 240mm liquid cooler need later?

The sealed loop is maintenance-free, but dust should be cleared from the radiator fins and the two fans every few months to keep airflow steady.

What limit appears first during sustained loads on the RTX 5070 Ti?

The GPU reaches its factory power ceiling before the 850W supply or the 240mm radiator saturate, so clocks throttle to stay within that limit.
