Desktop power for 4K creators

The ASUS TUF GT502 is a liquid cooled gaming desktop built around an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor with 24 cores running at 5.7GHz. It pairs that CPU with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card carrying 32GB GDDR7 memory and 128GB DDR5 system memory across four slots. A 4TB NVMe SSD and 1200W power supply complete the Windows 11 Home platform.

Replaces older 8K workstations

Builders moving from systems limited to 16GB or 32GB VRAM gain the 32GB GDDR7 buffer needed for large 3D scenes and high resolution textures. The jump is worth it when current projects exhaust GPU memory or when 240mm liquid cooling cannot sustain boost clocks on lesser cards. Buyers who need more storage than 4TB or multiple GPU slots should look elsewhere.

PCI Express x16 and DDR5 limits

The graphics interface uses a single PCI Express x16 link, so adding a second RTX card is not possible inside this chassis. Memory runs at DDR5 speeds across four populated slots, leaving no room for further RAM expansion without replacing modules. The 1200W supply defines the total power ceiling for all installed components.

Questions about this item

Will the 240 mm liquid cooler and 1200 W power supply fit inside the ASUS TUF GT502 case?

The system ships pre-assembled in the GT502 chassis with the 240 mm liquid cooler and 1200 W power supply already installed, so no additional fitment checks are required.

What is the correct way to seat the RTX 5090 in the PCI Express x16 slot during installation?

The graphics card is factory-installed in the PCI Express x16 slot; the step users often miss is connecting both 12 V HPWR power cables from the 1200 W supply before first boot.

When should the 240 mm liquid cooler coolant be checked or replaced?

The sealed 240 mm liquid cooler is maintenance-free for the life of the system; no coolant checks or replacements are needed.
