System composition and target user

This ASUS TUF GT502 desktop pairs an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 8-core processor running at 4.7GHz with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card holding 12GB GDDR7 memory. The 128GB DDR5 kit and 1TB NVMe SSD ship inside a liquid-cooled chassis powered by an 850W supply. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed. The build suits gamers and creators who want a ready-to-run system with high core counts and modern GPU memory.

Compatibility checks before ordering

Verify that your monitor inputs match the RTX 5070 PCI Express x16 output options. Confirm the 240mm liquid cooler fits your intended workspace and that the 850W power supply meets local mains requirements. The motherboard uses the AM5 socket with four DDR5 slots, all populated, so no further memory expansion is possible without removing modules. Ensure the 1TB NVMe capacity aligns with your storage plans.

Sustained-load behaviour

The 240mm liquid cooler is designed to manage CPU heat during extended sessions, while the 850W unit feeds both the 8-core processor and RTX 5070 continuously. With all four DDR5 slots filled, memory bandwidth remains stable under prolonged multitasking. The 1TB NVMe drive maintains write performance without a secondary cache drive. Components brands may vary, so thermal and acoustic results can differ between individual units.

Questions about this item

Does the ASUS TUF GT502 include a monitor, keyboard and mouse, or must they be bought separately?

The system ships as a complete tower with the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, RTX 5070, 128GB DDR5 and 1TB NVMe SSD already installed. Peripherals such as a monitor, keyboard and mouse are not included and must be purchased separately.

Should I choose the 128GB DDR5 configuration or a lower capacity for gaming at 1440p?

The 128GB DDR5 kit fills all four slots and leaves no room for future expansion, but it eliminates any memory bottleneck in modern titles and heavy multitasking. A smaller kit would save cost but could limit performance in memory-intensive workloads.

What does the 4.7GHz base clock on the Ryzen 7 9800X3D mean for real-world frame rates?

The 4.7GHz base frequency gives consistently high single-thread speed across all eight cores, so the CPU keeps pace with the RTX 5070 in CPU-bound scenes and delivers smooth 1440p gaming without throttling under sustained loads.
