  • 8-core Ryzen 7 9800X3D at 4.7GHz drives high frame rates
  • RTX 5070 with 12GB GDDR7 powers 1440p and 4K gaming
  • 64GB DDR5 across four slots handles heavy multitasking
  • 2TB NVMe SSD loads games and apps in seconds
  • 240mm liquid cooler keeps the CPU steady under load

Ready-to-play desktop for 1440p gaming

The ASUS TUF GT502 arrives with Windows 11 Home installed and all components tested. An 8-core Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor running at 4.7GHz pairs with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card carrying 12GB of GDDR7 memory. Sixty-four gigabytes of DDR5 RAM and a 2TB NVMe SSD provide the memory bandwidth and storage speed modern titles demand. This configuration targets players who want high frame rates at 1440p without assembling parts themselves.

Sustained load handling with 240mm liquid cooling

A 240mm liquid cooler keeps the Ryzen 7 9800X3D at stable temperatures during extended sessions, avoiding the clock throttling that can occur with air coolers under continuous load. The 850W power supply delivers consistent current to both the CPU and the RTX 5070, supporting stable operation when both components draw peak power simultaneously. Builders who need more storage than the single 2TB NVMe drive provides will have to add drives themselves.

GT502 chassis with front I/O and RGB lighting

The TUF GT502 case includes front-panel USB ports and audio jacks for convenient peripheral access, while integrated RGB lighting offers visual customisation without extra hardware. Components brands may vary across production runs, so the exact make of memory modules, SSD or power supply can differ from the product images. Buyers who require a specific component brand or a second graphics card should verify compatibility before purchase.

Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the 240mm liquid cooler keep the Ryzen 7 9800X3D during extended gaming sessions?

The 240mm liquid cooler is designed to handle the thermal output of the 8-core 4.7GHz processor, maintaining lower temperatures and quieter operation than standard air coolers during sustained all-day loads.

Does the 850W power supply include the necessary PCIe connectors for the RTX 5070 12GB GDDR7 graphics card?

Yes, the included 850W power supply provides the required power delivery and native connectors for the installed GeForce RTX 5070 with 12GB GDDR7 memory, so no additional cables or adapters are needed.

Will the AM5 socket motherboard support my existing AM4 CPU cooler if I decide to swap the liquid cooling later?

No, the AM5 socket used by the Ryzen 7 9800X3D has a different mounting pattern than AM4, so an older AM4 cooler cannot be installed without a specific AM5 retrofit kit from the cooler manufacturer.
