LGA 1151 ATX board with Intel Z370 chipset supporting up to 64GB DDR4 memory
The ASUS TUF Z370-PLUS GAMING II is an ATX motherboard built for the Intel LGA 1151 socket and Z370 chipset. It supports DDR4 memory up to 64GB capacity. This board targets builders assembling a system around compatible 8th or 9th generation Intel Core processors.
It suits enthusiasts who want a full-size ATX layout with the durability focus of the TUF series. Buyers who need a smaller form factor for compact cases should look elsewhere. Systems requiring memory beyond 64GB or a different CPU socket type cannot use this board.
The 64GB maximum memory supported is the single specification that determines whether this board fits the build. If the planned workload demands more capacity, this motherboard will not meet the requirement.

Mount the board using all ATX standoffs, align the I/O shield, then connect the 24-pin and 8-pin power cables; the step often missed is plugging in the 8-pin CPU power near the socket.
The included metal battery maintains CMOS settings and will need replacement when the system loses time or BIOS settings after power-off.
The 64GB DDR4 memory ceiling is the first hard limit; once all four slots are populated you cannot add more capacity regardless of cooling.
