27-inch 180Hz Full HD gaming monitor

The ASUS VG279Q3R is a 27-inch Full HD gaming monitor built for competitive players who need high refresh rates. Its Fast IPS panel delivers 1920x1080 resolution at 180Hz for responsive gameplay. The display covers 100% sRGB for accurate colour reproduction in supported titles. It suits esports enthusiasts and fast-paced gaming sessions.

1ms GTG response time with ELMB

The defining specification is the 1ms gray-to-gray response time paired with ASUS Extreme Low Motion Blur technology. This combination works alongside variable refresh rate to reduce ghosting and tearing during high-frame-rate motion. FreeSync support keeps frame delivery smooth when paired with a compatible graphics card. Variable Overdrive adjusts overdrive levels dynamically as refresh rates change.

1080p competitive gaming headroom

The monitor comfortably handles 1080p gaming at 180 frames per second for titles that run at such speeds. Shadow Boost improves visibility in darker scenes without washing out brighter areas. It runs out of headroom for higher-resolution workflows or productivity tasks needing more pixel density. The fixed 1920x1080 resolution limits multitasking space compared to larger or higher-resolution panels.
