Vivobook 15 Ryzen 7 3700U

The ASUS Vivobook 15 F512DA-IS79 is a 15.6 inch laptop powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 3700U quad-core processor. It comes with 16GB DDR4 memory and a 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD. The 1920 x 1080 non-touch display and integrated Radeon RX Vega 10 graphics handle everyday visual tasks. Windows 10 Home 64-bit is pre-installed.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This configuration suits office workers, students and home users who want a responsive system for documents, web browsing and video playback. The fingerprint reader and 720p webcam support secure login and video calls. Buyers who need a dedicated graphics card for modern gaming or intensive 3D rendering should consider a different class of machine.

Deciding specification — 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD

The single specification that decides fit is the 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD. It provides both the capacity for large media libraries and the speed for fast boot and application loading. If your workload demands more internal storage than one terabyte, this model cannot accommodate that need without external drives.
