Questions about this item

How hot or loud does the Intel Core i3-8145U get during all-day use?

The 15 W processor and integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 run cool enough for the thin 0.75 in chassis; fan noise stays low during typical office workloads.

Which peripherals do I need to start working with the USB 3.1 Type-C and HDMI ports?

The laptop includes two USB 3.0 Type-A ports, one USB 3.1 Type-C port and an HDMI output — bring a Type-C hub or cable and an HDMI display cable if you want external monitors.

Will my older USB 2.0 flash drives and 802.11n router work with this Vivobook 15?

Yes — two USB 2.0 ports accept legacy drives directly, and the Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) radio falls back to 802.11n speeds on older networks.
