Convertible 2-in-1 Design

The ASUS VivoBook Flip 14 TM420IA-DB71T is a 14.0-inch touchscreen laptop that rotates into tablet, tent or stand modes. It suits students and mobile professionals who need a single device for note-taking, presentations and everyday productivity on Windows 10 Pro.

Upgraded Configuration Installed

The supplier opened the original box to install 12GB of DDR4 memory and a 2TB SATA SSD before resealing it. No user disassembly is required; the system arrives ready to use with the fingerprint reader, backlit keyboard and active pen already configured.

Sustained Workload Behaviour

The 8-core Ryzen 7 4700U processor runs at a 2.0 GHz base clock and can reach 4.1 GHz turbo for short bursts. Under continuous load the integrated Radeon graphics and 45W power supply limit clock speeds, so extended rendering or heavy multitasking runs cooler but slower than peak figures suggest.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the Ryzen 7 4700U is boosting to 4.1 GHz after setup?

Open Task Manager, select the Performance tab, choose CPU, and watch the live clock speed while running a heavy load; it should rise toward 4.1 GHz when thermals allow.

What ships in the box and what must I purchase separately?

The box contains the convertible laptop, 45 W power supply, active pen, and Windows 10 Pro licence; no external drives, docks, or carrying cases are included.

Which version should I choose for maximum storage on this model?

This SKU is offered with a single 2 TB SATA SSD configuration, so there is no alternative capacity to select.
