Business laptop for professionals

The Lenovo ThinkPad T490 is a 14-inch notebook built for business professionals who need a portable Windows 10 Pro machine. It runs on an Intel Core i5-8265U quad-core processor with a base frequency of 1.6 GHz and a turbo frequency of 3.9 GHz. The system includes 16 GB of DDR4 RAM and a 128 GB NVMe SSD for the operating system and applications.

Integrated graphics and display limits

The Intel UHD Graphics 620 integrated GPU handles the 1920 x 1080 FHD IPS panel, which offers a 16:9 aspect ratio, 250 cd/m² brightness and a 700:1 contrast ratio. Viewing angles reach 170 degrees horizontally and vertically with an anti-glare finish. This graphics solution is suited for office productivity and media playback rather than intensive 3D rendering or modern gaming workloads.

Chassis features and daily connectivity

The black chassis includes a fingerprint reader for Windows Hello login and a 720p webcam for video calls. Video output is provided by HDMI and Thunderbolt ports, while a card reader supports removable media. Wireless connectivity covers Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The supplier notes the manufacturer box was opened to install the upgraded memory and storage configuration before sale.
