Product Identity

The ASUS WM-697 is a right-handed gaming mouse with 16 programmable buttons and a 1400 DPI optical sensor. It connects through a 2.4 GHz wireless link or a wired interface and weighs 0.08 kilograms. The contoured shape includes a ring and little-finger rest for extended comfort.

Build Integration

The mouse requires a free USB port for its 2.4 GHz receiver and runs on two AAA batteries that are not supplied. Bluetooth is also listed as an interface option for systems that support it. No driver installation is needed, so the device works immediately on Windows, Mac and Linux. The 43.0 ft wireless range lets you position the receiver away from a crowded desk.

Bundled Extras

The package supplies only the mouse and its USB receiver; batteries are not included. Power management switches the mouse to sleep mode after 10 minutes of inactivity and wakes it with any button press. A 6,000,000 click durability rating backs the primary buttons. Side buttons do not function on Mac OS, while all other features remain available.
