ASUS Zen WiFi AXE7800 WiFi 6E mesh system 3-pack White

Tri-band WiFi 6E mesh system

The ASUS Zen WiFi AXE7800 is a tri-band WiFi 6E mesh system sold as a three-pack. It targets households that need seamless whole-home coverage and high throughput for 4K or 8K streaming and gaming. The 6 GHz band access reduces interference from neighbouring networks. It suits users who want a unified wireless backbone without running cables between rooms.

Simple app-guided setup with node placement caveats

Installation is handled through the ASUS Router app, which walks you through pairing each node and choosing optimal locations. The main difficulty is finding spots where every unit maintains a strong wireless backhaul link to its neighbour. Thick walls, metal appliances or excessive distance between nodes will degrade mesh performance and may require repositioning or a wired Ethernet backhaul if ports are available.

Consistent throughput across many simultaneous

Under sustained load the system distributes traffic across its three radios to keep latency low for gaming and streaming sessions. The 6 GHz band stays cleaner than legacy bands, so heavy concurrent usage — multiple 4K streams, large downloads and video calls — remains stable without the sharp speed drops seen on congested dual-band setups. Advanced security features also run continuously without noticeable throughput impact.
