Desk Calendar Base 3.5 x 6 Inch

The AT-A-GLANCE E1700 is a black loose-leaf desk calendar base that holds standard 17-style refills up to a 6.5 inch page size. It is made from high-impact molded plastic that is recyclable and features a two-ring binding mechanism. The base overall size is 7.5 x 8.75 x 1 inches. Refills are sold separately.

Replaces Worn or Missing Bases

This base replaces a damaged or lost calendar stand for users who already own compatible 17-style refills such as E717 50 or E517 50. The jump is worth it when the original base cracks or the rings no longer close securely. It is not for buyers who need a complete planner with dated pages included.

Capacity and Headroom

The base accommodates standard 3.5 x 6 inch refill pages and accepts a maximum page size of 6.5 inches. It comfortably handles daily scheduling and note-taking for a full year using the supported refill models. It runs out when the user requires a larger page format or a bound planner that does not use loose-leaf rings.

Questions about this item

What desk space does the 7.5 x 8.75 x 1 inch base require?

The molded plastic base measures 7.5 inches wide, 8.75 inches deep and 1 inch high, so allow that footprint on your desk.

How do the two rings open to load a 17-style refill?

Lift the ring lever, align the punched holes of an E717 50, E517 50, E417 50, S170 50, E017 50, E717T 50 or E717R 50 refill, then snap the lever shut.

When should the black plastic base be replaced?

Replace the base if the high-impact molded plastic cracks, the two-ring mechanism no longer closes securely, or the hinge becomes too loose to hold pages upright.
