Replacement battery pack for cordless phones

This two-pack supplies 2.4 V 550 mAh Ni-MH cells that replace original batteries in many AT&T, Clarity, GE and RCA DECT 6.0 handsets. It covers model numbers such as BT8001, BT8000, BT8300, BT18433, BT28433, 89-1335-00 and 89-1344-01. Buyers whose phones use a different voltage or connector will need another solution.

Fits directly into listed handset compartments

The cells slide into the battery bay of compatible models including AT&T CL80109, CL81109, CL82109, EL51109, EL52109, SL81108, TL92278 and numerous GE RCA 25210, 25250, 28512 series phones. No soldering or adapter is required. Handsets not shown in the compatibility list are not supported.

550 mAh capacity restores standard talk time

The Ni-MH chemistry delivers the rated capacity for typical daily use on supported DECT 6.0 handsets. Heavy users who need extended runtime beyond the original specification will find the pack reaches its limit sooner. Phones requiring higher-capacity cells cannot use this pack.

Questions about this item

How long will the 550 mAh Ni-MH cells last on a single charge during normal cordless handset use?

Talk and standby times depend on the specific telephone model and how heavily the handset is used; the 550 mAh rating sets the energy available.

Do the batteries get warm or make any noise while the handset sits on its charger all day?

Ni-MH chemistry runs silently; a slight temperature rise during charging is normal and the handset's charge controller manages the process.

Which AT&T DECT 6.0 handset models are confirmed to accept the BT184342 / BT284342 pack?

The pack fits models including CL80109, CL81109, CL81209, CL81309, CL82109, CL82209, CL82309, CL82300, CL82359, CL82409, CL82509, CL82659, CL82859, CL84100, CL84109 and CL84209.
