A dual-display KVM switch that isolates two computers at 3840x2160 50/60 Hz with PSD PP v 4.0 certification for secure environments
The ATEN CS1142DP4C is a 2-port secure KVM switch built for environments that require strict data separation. It lets one local user control two computers while sharing a single keyboard, mouse, dual monitors, speakers and a CAC reader. The design targets defense and intelligence installations where information assurance is mandatory.
Each computer connects through three DisplayPort cables and USB for keyboard, mouse and CAC reader, totalling six DisplayPort and seven USB ports on the switch. The unit sits on the desktop and consolidates dual-head video, audio and smart-card peripherals so the operator does not need duplicate monitor sets or input devices. No external power adapter is mentioned in the data.
Compliance with PSD PP v 4.0 certified by NIAP enforces isolation and unidirectional data flow between the connected sources. Restricted peripheral connectivity and configurable device filtering prevent unauthorized data transfer when switching port focus. The switch supports 3840 x 2160 resolution at 50 Hz and 60 Hz for clear dual-display output.

It drives dual displays at 3840 x 2160 running at 50 Hz or 60 Hz, matching the switch's maximum video specification.
The unit uses passive cooling with no internal fan, so it runs silently and relies on natural convection to stay within safe thermal limits all day.
You need six DisplayPort cables for the video links, up to seven USB cables for keyboard, mouse, CAC reader, audio and other peripherals, plus the monitors and computers themselves.
