Product Purpose

The ATEN VE813A is an HDMI HDBaseT extender adapter that transmits 4K video up to 100 metres over a single category cable. It includes USB extension for remote peripheral control and carries an Extreme USB label.

Who It Suits

Installers needing point-to-point 4K HDMI and USB extension over 100 metres of category cabling will find this adapter matches the requirement. It does not suit applications requiring longer reach, multi-point distribution, or different video interfaces.

Deciding Specification

The critical figure is the 100 metre HDBaseT Class A transmission distance for 4K signals. If the cable run exceeds this limit or the project demands Class B distance, this model will not meet the installation needs.
