Compact 300W Flex ATX Server Power Supply

This 300W Flex ATX power supply is built for 1U rackmounts, Mini-ITX chassis and compatible legacy systems such as IBM SurePOS, Shuttle XPC and HP Pavilion units. It suits builders who need reliable server-grade power in a small footprint for media servers, business servers or kiosk deployments.

Standard Flex ATX fit

The unit follows the Flex ATX form factor so it slides into compatible bays without adapters. Active PFC improves mains efficiency and the Remote ON/OFF feature allows external power cycling, which is useful for headless or rack-mounted installations. Builders must verify their chassis accepts the Flex ATX profile and that the Remote ON/OFF header matches the motherboard pin-out.

300W ceiling defines the practical load limit

The 300W rating sets the maximum combined output for all rails, so configurations with multiple high-wattage CPUs, discrete GPUs or large drive arrays will exceed the budget. It is not suited for builds that need more than 300W of continuous power or for standard ATX cases that require a full-size PSU.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the Athena AP-MFATX30P8 is delivering stable 300W power after installation?

The unit powers on normally, fans spin, and connected components start without unexpected shutdowns or instability under load.

Which cables and connectors are included with the Athena AP-MFATX30P8, and what must I source separately?

Standard ATX power connectors are attached; any specialised cables for proprietary systems like IBM SurePOS or HP Pavilion must be obtained separately.

The Athena AP-MFATX30P8 is a single 300W Flex ATX model — how do I know this capacity fits my build?

Choose this 300W unit when your Mini-ITX or 1U chassis requires Flex ATX dimensions and your total component draw stays within 300W.
