800W redundant server supply

The Athena Power AP-RRP4ATX6808 is an 800 watt redundant power supply built for rack servers that require continuous uptime. It fits standard 20+4 pin ATX motherboards and accepts 88 to 264 volt AC input at 47 to 63 Hz. The unit carries 80 PLUS Bronze certification and is rated for 100,000 hours MTBF at full load and 25 °C.

Redundant 800W headroom

Two hot-swap modules share the load so a single module failure does not interrupt operation. The +12 volt rail delivers up to 30 amps while +5 volt and +3.3 volt rails each provide 24 amps. Maximum combined output is 800 watts; sustained loads above that will trip protection. Hold-up time is at least 20 ms at nominal input.

Compact redundant build

The supply measures 5.9 by 3.4 by 8.9 inches and weighs 9.0 lbs, matching common redundant PSU bays. Dielectric withstand is tested at 1800 volts AC primary to frame ground. Operating temperature range is 5 °C to 40 °C at 250 watt load or -10 °C to 50 °C at 220 watt load. Not suited for builds needing higher single-rail current or non-redundant form factors.

Questions about this item

Will the 20+4Pin main connector and 800W output work with my older ATX motherboard that uses a 20-pin socket?

The 20+4Pin connector splits so the 20-pin section fits legacy ATX boards while the 800W capacity provides ample headroom for older components.

How can I verify the redundant modules are both active after installation?

Each module has its own AC inlet and status LED; both LEDs lit green confirm both units are sharing the load.

Does the package include the IEC power cords for each module or must I buy them separately?

The unit ships with the redundant power-supply modules installed in the chassis; IEC cords for the dual inlets are not included and must be sourced separately.
