Direct replacement panel

This 15.6 inch IPS display carries the exact part number B156HTN02.1 and matches the factory resolution of 1920x1080 at 60Hz. It is built for owners of laptops that originally shipped with this panel and need a new screen without altering the chassis or cable routing.

Forty-pin connector fit

The screen uses a 40 pin video signal connector, so the existing ribbon cable plugs straight in without adapters or soldering. Its non-touch surface keeps the original bezel and hinge alignment intact, leaving the webcam, antenna wires and backlight circuitry exactly as the manufacturer designed them.

Steady 300 cd/m² output

Rated brightness of 300 cd/m² and a 400:1 contrast ratio are maintained across long sessions because the IPS layer does not rely on aggressive boosting that fades with heat. The 60Hz refresh rate stays consistent during extended video playback or office work, avoiding the frame-time spikes that appear when panels throttle under sustained load.

Questions about this item

Will the 300 cd/m² brightness hold steady during long sessions?

The panel is rated at 300 cd/m² brightness and 60 Hz refresh; sustained output at that level is typical for IPS laptop screens.

How much heat or fan noise does the display add when running all day?

As a passive LCD panel it generates minimal heat and no noise; power draw is limited to the backlight and driver circuitry.

My laptop uses a 40-pin video connector — will this screen plug straight in?

Yes, the B156HTN02.1 uses a 40-pin video signal connector; verify your existing cable matches that pin count before fitting.
