Exact-fit 15.6 inch replacement

This ATPAZDB LP156WF4 panel is a direct replacement for laptops that originally shipped with the LP156WF4(SL)(B2) part number. It delivers Full HD 1920x1080 resolution on a 15.6 inch IPS matrix. The 40 pin video connector matches the factory cable without adapters. Buyers needing a touch-enabled display or a different connector layout should verify compatibility before ordering.

250 cd/m² brightness with 60 Hz refresh

The IPS panel provides 250 cd/m² typical brightness and a 400:1 contrast ratio for everyday indoor viewing. A 60 Hz refresh rate handles standard office applications and video playback without motion artefacts. Power draw and thermal output remain consistent with the original factory screen. No backlight technology beyond standard LED is specified in the data.

Upgrades dim or cracked original panels

This screen replaces a failed, dimmed or physically damaged LP156WF4(SL)(B2) unit to restore factory image quality. The jump is worth it when the existing panel shows dead pixels, backlight bleed or colour shift that calibration cannot fix. It does not increase resolution, refresh rate or colour gamut beyond the original specification. Systems requiring higher refresh rates or wider colour coverage need a different part number.

Questions about this item

How is the 40 pin video connector seated during installation, and which step do people get wrong?

Align the 40 pin connector with the motherboard socket and press straight in until it clicks; the common mistake is inserting it at an angle, which bends pins and causes no image.

What maintenance or replacement will the LP156WF4 (SL)(B2) panel need later?

No scheduled maintenance is required; if brightness drops below the 250 cd/m² spec or the 400:1 contrast degrades, the entire panel is replaced rather than serviced.

What limit appears first on the LP156WF4 (SL)(B2) during sustained use at 60 Hz?

The 250 cd/m² backlight brightness is the first constraint; extended full-white content can trigger thermal dimming before the 60 Hz refresh rate becomes a bottleneck.
