Direct replacement panel

The ATPAZDB LP156WF6 (SP)(P1) is a 15.6 inch IPS display built as a direct replacement for laptops using the LP156WF6(SP)(P1) part number. It delivers a Full HD 1920x1080 resolution at a 60Hz refresh rate and uses a standard 30-pin video connector. The non-touch surface suits traditional clamshell notebooks.

Simple integration requirements

Installation requires a compatible 30-pin eDP cable and mounting brackets that match the original chassis; no additional controller board or driver is needed. The panel draws power from the laptop's existing display rail, freeing the builder from sourcing an external supply. Verify the connector orientation before ordering.

Consistent output over time

Rated at 300 cd/m² brightness and a 700:1 contrast ratio, the screen maintains stable luminance during extended sessions without the dimming seen in lower-spec panels. IPS technology keeps colour shift minimal across wide viewing angles. The 60Hz refresh rate provides steady motion handling for everyday productivity and video playback.

Questions about this item

What is the refresh-rate ceiling of the LP156WF6 (SP)(P1) panel?

The panel runs at 60 Hz, so motion updates stop at that rate even if the GPU can push more frames.

How much power does the backlight draw at full brightness?

Typical brightness is 300 cd/m² with a 700:1 contrast ratio; IPS panels of this size usually consume only a few watts for the LED backlight.

Which connector must the laptop already have for this screen to work?

The display uses a 30-pin video signal connector, so the motherboard must provide a matching 30-pin eDP interface.
