Direct-fit 15.6 inch FHD panel

This 15.6 inch replacement screen matches part number LP156WF9(SP)(K2) exactly. It delivers a 1920x1080 Full HD resolution on an IPS panel for wide viewing angles. The 30-pin video connector aligns with the original cable without adapters. Buyers needing touch input or a different pin layout cannot use this panel.

250 cd/m² brightness and 700:1 contrast

Typical brightness reaches 250 cd/m² with a 700:1 contrast ratio for clear text and video. The 60 Hz refresh rate handles office work and streaming without added power draw. No backlight control or fan is present, so the unit adds negligible heat or noise to the chassis. Users chasing high-refresh gaming or HDR luminance will find the specs insufficient.

Slim non-touch IPS build with 30-pin fit

The non-touch IPS construction keeps the assembly thin for standard lid clearance. A 30-pin connector sits at the expected position for LP156WF9(SP)(K2) mounts, simplifying the swap. No brackets or inverter are included, so installers reuse existing hardware. Technicians working on models with 40-pin or eDP interfaces must source a different screen.

Questions about this item

How do I connect the 30-pin video signal connector when installing this 15.6 inch screen?

Align the 30-pin connector with the motherboard socket and press firmly until it clicks; the step most people miss is not securing the latch, which causes a blank display.

What maintenance will this IPS panel need over time?

No internal maintenance is required; keep the surface clean with a microfibre cloth and avoid pressure on the bezel to preserve the 250 cd/m² brightness and 700:1 contrast ratio.

At what point does the 60 Hz refresh rate become the limiting factor during sustained use?

The 60 Hz refresh rate caps motion clarity at 60 frames per second, so fast-paced gaming or high-frame-rate video will show motion blur before the panel reaches any thermal or brightness limit.
