Exact-fit 15.6-inch FHD IPS panel

This 15.6 inch replacement screen matches part number LP156WFC(SP)(U1) and delivers a 1920x1080 Full HD resolution on an IPS panel. It is intended for owners of compatible laptops who need a direct swap for a damaged or dim original display. The 30-pin video connector ensures a straightforward installation without adapter cables. Buyers whose devices require a different pin count or mounting layout should verify compatibility before ordering.

500 cd/m² brightness with 1400:1 contrast

The panel reaches 500 cd/m² brightness and a 1400:1 contrast ratio, providing clear visibility in typical indoor lighting. IPS technology supplies consistent colour and wide viewing angles for everyday office work or media playback. A 60Hz refresh rate handles standard video and desktop motion without extra power draw. No backlight or fan noise is generated by the display itself.

Stable output during extended sessions

Under sustained use the screen maintains its rated brightness and contrast without throttling or drift. The 60Hz refresh rate remains constant during long work periods, avoiding the frame-time variance that can appear in variable-refresh implementations. IPS liquid crystal response stays consistent across temperature changes typical of laptop chassis. Users who need higher refresh rates or HDR certification should consider panels specified for those features.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 30-pin video connector on the LP156WFC screen without damaging the pins?

Align the 30-pin connector carefully with the motherboard socket, press straight in until fully seated, then secure the retention latch; the most common mistake is forcing the plug at an angle which bends the delicate pins.

What maintenance will the LP156WFC panel need after extended use?

Only occasional cleaning with a microfibre cloth and screen-safe fluid; the IPS panel has no user-serviceable backlight or inverter, so no periodic component replacement is required.

At what point does the 60 Hz refresh rate become the limiting factor during sustained gaming?

The 60 Hz refresh rate caps motion updates at 60 frames per second, so fast-paced titles will show motion blur or tearing once the GPU pushes beyond that frame rate.
