17.3" IPS replacement panel

This 17.3-inch IPS display replaces the LP173WFG (SP)(V3) panel in compatible laptops. It delivers Full HD 1920x1080 resolution with a 300 Hz refresh rate for smooth motion. The matte, non-touch surface suits gaming and productivity users who need a direct factory-spec swap.

40-pin eDP interface limit

The panel connects through a 40-pin video signal connector using the embedded DisplayPort protocol native to the laptop. Bandwidth is fixed by the host system's eDP implementation, so the screen cannot exceed its rated 300 Hz at 1920x1080. Compatibility depends on an exact pin-out and bracket match with the original LP173WFG (SP)(V3) assembly.

300 Hz headroom and brightness ceiling

At 300 cd/m² brightness and 800:1 contrast, the panel handles fast-paced gaming and bright indoor lighting comfortably. The 300 Hz ceiling meets competitive shooter demands but offers no overhead for higher refresh rates. Colour-critical work requiring wider gamut or HDR metadata will find the standard sRGB-range IPS output limiting.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the LP173WFG (SP)(V3) version for my laptop?

Choose this panel only if your current screen carries the exact part number LP173WFG(SP)(V3); the 40‑pin connector and 17.3 inch size must match the original.

What does the 300 Hz refresh rate mean in daily use?

The panel can redraw the image up to 300 times per second, so fast motion in games or video stays sharp without visible ghosting.

How does the 40‑pin video connector limit compatibility?

The screen uses a 40‑pin eDP interface; it will only work in laptops wired for that exact pin count and signal layout.
