15.6" FHD 240Hz replacement panel

This 15.6 inch display replaces a damaged LQ156M1JW16 panel in compatible notebooks. It delivers Full HD 1920x1080 resolution at a 240Hz refresh rate for smooth motion. The matte finish reduces glare during extended sessions. A 40-pin connector matches the original equipment exactly.

Who this fits and who it does not

The panel suits owners of laptops designed around the LQ156M1JW16 part number who need a like-for-like swap. Buyers whose device uses a different connector count, a touch layer, or a lower refresh specification should look elsewhere. Compatibility depends on an exact part-number match, not on screen size alone.

The deciding specification

The 40-pin video signal connector determines whether this screen will install and function. If the original panel uses a 30-pin or any other pin arrangement, this unit will not connect. Verify the part number on the existing screen before ordering.

Questions about this item

Will the backlight on this LQ156M1JW16 panel need replacement after heavy use?

The backlight is rated at 300 cd/m² brightness with a 1000:1 contrast ratio; gradual dimming over years of continuous operation is the typical maintenance concern.

What limit appears first when running this 240Hz screen at full refresh for long sessions?

Sustained 240Hz output at 1920x1080 resolution is constrained by the 40-pin video connector bandwidth and the panel's native response characteristics.

How much heat or power draw should I expect from this 15.6 inch display running all day?

As a non-touch FHD panel with 300 cd/m² brightness, it draws modest power and generates low heat typical for 15.6 inch laptop screens under continuous use.
