Direct replacement panel

This 15.6 inch screen carries part number N156KME-GNA and matches the original panel used in compatible laptops. It delivers Quad HD 2560x1440 resolution at 165Hz refresh rate with a 300 cd/m² brightness level and 1000:1 contrast ratio.

Connector and form-factor check

Verify that the existing display uses a 40 pin video signal connector and a non-touch 15.6 inch chassis before ordering. The replacement is built to the same N156KME-GNA specification, so the mounting points and cable routing must align with the original assembly.

Thermal and power profile

As a passive LCD module the panel adds negligible heat and draws minimal power during normal operation. No fan or active cooling is involved, so acoustic output remains unchanged and the system’s thermal envelope is unaffected.

Questions about this item

Does the N156KME-GNA screen arrive with any mounting brackets or cables, or must I reuse the ones from my old panel?

The replacement panel is supplied as the bare 15.6 inch display with a 40-pin video connector; brackets, hinges and cables are not included and must be transferred from the original screen.

My laptop lists several panel options — how do I confirm this N156KME-GNA is the correct one?

Match the part number N156KME-GNA on your existing panel and verify it uses a 40-pin connector with 2560x1440 resolution at 165 Hz; only that exact match guarantees compatibility.

What does the 165 Hz refresh rate actually deliver in daily use on this 2560x1440 panel?

The 165 Hz refresh rate means the screen can redraw the 2560x1440 image up to 165 times per second, giving smoother motion in fast-paced games and scrolling compared to standard 60 Hz panels.
