Exact replacement panel

The ATPAZDB NE156QUM-NZ3 is a 15.6 inch UHD 4K display built as a direct replacement for the same part number. It delivers a 3840x2160 pixel grid at 120 Hz refresh with 400 cd/m² brightness and a 1200:1 contrast ratio. The non-touch panel uses a 40-pin video signal connector. It is intended for technicians or owners repairing a compatible notebook.

Fits the existing lid and cable

Installation reuses the original 40-pin cable and mounting points because the panel matches the factory dimensions and connector layout. The 120 Hz refresh rate supports smoother motion without requiring a different display controller. No touch digitiser is present, so the repair does not add extra flex cables or calibration steps. The panel simply restores the native 4K resolution and brightness.

Suits single-panel 4K repairs

This screen suits anyone replacing a damaged NE156QUM-NZ3 panel in a 15.6 inch chassis that originally shipped with a 40-pin UHD 4K 120 Hz display. Buyers who need touch functionality should look elsewhere because this model lacks a digitiser layer. Systems requiring a different pin count, resolution, refresh rate or physical size cannot use this part.

Questions about this item

Will the 120 Hz refresh rate drop under sustained load?

The panel is specified at 120 Hz; refresh rate is a fixed timing parameter and does not throttle with temperature.

How much heat or power does the 15.6 inch 3840×2160 display add during all-day use?

Typical panel power is low for a 15.6 inch 4K screen; it runs cool and draws only the backlight and driver current.

Does my laptop need a 40-pin eDP cable to accept this NE156QUM-NZ3 screen?

Yes — the panel uses a 40-pin video connector, so the host must provide a matching 40-pin eDP interface.
