2-Port HDMI 2.1 Switch for Dual-Source Setups

This AUBEAMTO switch routes video and audio from two HDMI 2.1 sources to a single display. It suits users with a PS5, Xbox, Fire Stick or similar devices who want to avoid swapping cables. A front-panel button selects the active input instantly.

Bandwidth and Cable Limits at 48 Gbps

The switch handles up to 48 Gbps and supports 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 120 Hz and 1080p at 240 Hz. Achieving the top resolutions requires every link — source, cables and display — to meet the HDMI 2.1 specification. The supplier notes that cables should not exceed 10 ft for 8K or 4K high-refresh signals.

Manual Switching With LED Indicator

A single button toggles between the two inputs and an LED shows which port is live. No software or remote control is included, so the user must press the unit to change sources. This design fits setups where hands-on switching is acceptable.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 2-port version or is there a larger switch available?

This model provides exactly two HDMI 2.1 inputs and one HDMI 2.1 output, so you can connect two source devices to a single display.

What does the 8K@60Hz rating mean when I connect my PS5 or PC?

It means the switch can pass 7680 × 4320 resolution at 60 Hz, 4K at 120 Hz, or 1080p at 240 Hz, provided your source, cable and display all support those modes.

How does the HDMI 2.1 interface and 48 Gbps bandwidth limit what I can actually run?

The 48 Gbps ceiling caps you to 8K@60Hz, 4K@120Hz or 1080p@240Hz; higher refresh rates at those resolutions would exceed the link capacity.
