This HDMI 2.0 switch routes four HDMI sources to a single display. It supports video resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz with 4:2:0 chroma subsampling. The unit extracts audio through SPDIF coaxial, Toslink optical and 3.5 mm analogue outputs. ARC return is available on the optical and coaxial ports for TV-to-soundbar setups.

Fits a Multi-Source Home Cinema Build

The switch sits between up to four source devices — such as a PC, streaming box, Blu-ray player or game console — and one HDMI display or projector. It accepts DC 5 V / 1 A power from the included adapter. HDMI 2.0 cables up to three metres are supported at 4K 60 Hz, extending to five metres at 4K 30 Hz. The 3.5 mm jack does not carry the ARC signal.

Questions about this item

How many HDMI sources can I connect before I run out of inputs?

The switch provides four HDMI 2.0 inputs so you can connect up to four sources simultaneously.

Does the unit get hot or draw much power when it runs all day?

It ships with a 5 V 1 A power adapter and has no fan, so heat and power draw stay low during continuous use.

Which cables do I need to have on hand for the audio outputs to work?

You will need an HDMI cable for the main output plus either a Toslink optical cable or a coaxial digital cable for ARC audio; the 3.5 mm jack uses a standard stereo lead.
