Bi-Directional HDMI Switch for Home Entertainment

This aluminium HDMI 2.0b switch connects two sources to one display or one source to two displays, switching with a single button press. It supports 4K at 60 Hz, HDR and HDCP 2.2 for consoles, streaming sticks and Blu-ray players. The package includes the switch, a 5 V power cable, an HDMI cable and a user manual. Only one screen can be active at a time.

Passive Operation With Optional Power

The unit draws minimal power and can run without the supplied 5 V cable for many setups, keeping the system silent and cool. LED indicators show the active port without adding audible noise. Bandwidth reaches 18 Gbps over standard AWG26 cables up to 6.6 ft for 4K 60 Hz signals. No fan or active cooling is required during normal switching use.

Stable Signal Under Continuous Use

During extended viewing sessions the switch maintains a stable 250 MHz link with 36-bit HDR colour depth and 7.1-channel audio pass-through. Signal integrity holds across supported resolutions from 480i to 3840×2160 without drop-outs. The solid alloy housing helps dissipate the small amount of heat generated, so performance stays consistent for long movie marathons or gaming sessions.

Questions about this item

How do I connect the two HDMI 2.0 sources to one display using the 2×1 mode?

Plug each source into the two HDMI 2.0b inputs, connect the single HDMI 2.0b output to the display, attach the included DC 5 V power cable, then press the button to select the active input; the LED shows which port is live.

What part will need replacement first if the switch is used daily?

The mechanical push-button and the HDMI 2.0b ports are the only moving or mating parts; with repeated switching the button or port contacts will wear before the aluminium chassis or internal circuitry.

What cable-length limit appears first when running 4K@60 Hz through the 18 Gbps bandwidth?

The supplier rates the AWG26 HDMI cable at 6.6 ft (2 m) for 4K@60 Hz; longer runs at that resolution will lose stability before the 250 MHz bandwidth ceiling is reached.
