AUBEAMTO PQ005 USB4 cable 3.3 ft 40Gbps 240W

The AUBEAMTO PQ005 is a USB4 cable with USB-IF certification. It connects USB-C devices using male-to-male terminals in a right-angle design. The cable supports up to 40Gbps data transfer and 240W power delivery at 48V/5A. It is built for laptops, hubs, docking stations and other USB-C equipment.

Suits users needing 8K@60Hz

This cable fits users who want high-resolution video output up to 8K at 60Hz or 4K at 144Hz. It serves professionals moving large files at 40Gbps and owners of Thunderbolt 3 or Thunderbolt 4 gear. Buyers whose devices cannot accept 48V/5A charging or who require a straight connector should consider other options.

240W charging at 48V/5A decides if this part works

The single specification that determines compatibility is the 240W power rating delivered through 48V and 5A. Both the charger and the device must support this voltage and current profile for maximum charging speed. If either end negotiates a lower profile, the cable will fall back to the negotiated rate.

Questions about this item

Does the cable come with any adapters or do I need to buy them separately?

The package contains only the USB C to USB C cable; no adapters or extra accessories are included.

Should I choose the 3.3 ft length or is another length offered?

This model is available only in the 3.3 ft length, so there is no alternative to select.

Will I actually see 40 Gbps transfer speeds when moving large video files between my laptop and an external SSD?

The cable is rated for 40 Gbps, but real-world speed depends on the host controller, drive performance and file sizes; it will not exceed the slowest link in the chain.
