AUBEAMTO PQ106 USB-C Extension Cable

This two-pack of USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C male-to-female cables extends the reach of existing connections by ten feet. Each cable supports data transfer at 10Gbps and power delivery up to 100W for compatible devices.

Suits users needing longer USB-C reach

These cables suit users who need to connect USB-C peripherals, displays or chargers across a larger gap without moving the host device. They are not for buyers who require active Thunderbolt 3 speeds beyond 10Gbps or cables rated for higher power than 100W.

10Gbps data and 100W charging headroom

The cables comfortably handle 4K video at 60Hz and can charge a 16-inch MacBook Pro to 39 percent in 30 minutes. They run out of headroom for Thunderbolt 3 bandwidth above 10Gbps and for displays needing resolutions or refresh rates beyond 4K at 60Hz.

Questions about this item

What USB-C host port standard do I need on my laptop for the 10 Gbps data rate and 100 W charging to work?

Your laptop must provide a USB 3.1 Gen 2 or USB 3.2 Type-C port that supports 20 V / 5 A Power Delivery and 10 Gbps signalling.

Will the 10 ft length still deliver 4K at 60 Hz if I keep my existing passive Thunderbolt 3 dock in the chain?

Yes, the extender is compatible with passive Thunderbolt 3, but video bandwidth remains capped at the cable's 10 Gbps limit for 4K 60 Hz.

How can I confirm the cable is negotiating 10 Gbps and 100 W after I plug it in?

Check your OS power meter for 20 V / 5 A charge rate and run a large file transfer to verify sustained 10 Gbps throughput.
