What this cable is and who it suits

The AUBEAMTO TJ-A323 is a USB4 Thunderbolt 4 cable rated for 40Gbps bandwidth, 100W power delivery and 8K video output over a 6.6 ft length. It targets professionals connecting high-resolution monitors, fast storage or docks to USB-C laptops such as Mac Pro models from 2018, 2019 and 2020 or XPS and Chrome Book devices that support DP Alternate Mode.

Installation experience and common pitfalls

The male-to-male USB-C connectors plug straight into compatible ports with no driver installation required. Buyers must verify that the host port and the display or dock both support DP Alternate Mode for video; without it the cable will carry data and power but no picture. Thunderbolt 3 hosts work for data and charging yet cannot reach the full 40Gbps rate or 8K resolution.

Capacity headroom and limits

The link moves up to 40Gbps, enough to transfer 25,000 photos or roughly 14 hours of high-definition video in one minute, and it delivers up to 100W at 20V/5A under USB PD 3.1 EPR. It drives a single 8K@60Hz or 5K@60Hz panel, or dual 4K@60Hz displays, but cannot exceed those resolutions or refresh rates. Users needing longer runs or higher power than 100W will need a different solution.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the cable is delivering the full 40Gbps data rate after connecting it?

Transfer a large file set and confirm the speed approaches 40Gbps; the cable requires no extra configuration and works immediately when plugged in.

What comes in the box and is a power adapter included?

The package contains the 6.6 ft USB-C to USB-C cable only; a 100W capable charger must be purchased separately to use the 20V/5A power delivery.

Should I choose a shorter or longer version of this cable for my 8K monitor setup?

This model is the 6.6 ft length; it supports single 8K@60Hz or dual 4K@60Hz over that distance without signal loss.
