USB4 Thunderbolt 4 cable 40Gbps

The AUBEAMTO TJ-A323 is a USB4 cable that supports Thunderbolt 3 and Thunderbolt 4 hosts. It delivers up to 40Gbps bandwidth, 100W power delivery and 8K@60Hz video over a male-to-male USB-C connection. The 1.6FT length suits desktop docks and portable drives.

40Gbps bandwidth and 1.6FT length

At 40Gbps the link can move roughly 25000 photos or 14 hours of high-definition video in one minute. The short 1.6FT reach keeps signal integrity high but prevents routing behind furniture or across a meeting-room table. Devices without Thunderbolt or USB4 fall back to their own lower speeds.

100W charging and 8K@60Hz headroom

The cable handles 20V at 5A for 100W charging while simultaneously driving a single 8K@60Hz or dual 4K@60Hz display via DP1.4 alternate mode. It will not support displays that need more than 40Gbps aggregate bandwidth or power profiles above 100W. Builders who need longer runs or higher multi-stream resolutions should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 1.6FT length or a longer cable for my desk setup?

The 1.6FT length suits tight spaces like laptop-to-dock connections on a desk; choose a longer cable only if your monitor or hub sits farther away.

What does the 40Gbps rating mean when I copy files to an external drive?

40Gbps is the cable's maximum bandwidth; real-world throughput depends on your drive, port and file mix, but large sequential transfers will approach that ceiling.

Does the USB4 Thunderbolt 4 interface cap video or power delivery in practice?

The cable carries full Thunderbolt 4 bandwidth, single 8K@60Hz or dual 4K@60Hz video, and up to 100W PD 3.1 EPR charging without reduction.
