Audio Implements PO-500 Receiver 500 Ohm #303 microphone

SKU CH-29CN-MAVQG

A microphone with 500 Ohm impedance and a 20 to 3500 Hz frequency response

  • 500 Ohm impedance matches professional audio equipment
  • 20 Hz to 3500 Hz response captures voice clearly
  • Under 1 % distortion at 1 mW keeps audio clean
  • 100 mW maximum input handles loud sources safely
  • Metal ¼″ nubbins and base built for long life

Purpose & fit

The Audio Implements PO-500 Receiver is a 500 ohm microphone built for voice capture in streaming and gaming setups. Its narrow 20 Hz to 3500 Hz response targets speech clarity rather than full-range audio. Buyers who want music-grade fidelity or ultra-low noise floors should look elsewhere.

Installation notes

The unit terminates in a metal 1/4 inch nubbins connector that plugs directly into compatible preamps or interfaces. No drivers or software are required. The only common issue is matching the 500 ohm impedance to an input that expects a different load, which can reduce signal level.

Deciding specification

Impedance is fixed at 500 ohms and maximum power input is rated at 100 mW with distortion below 1 percent at 1 kHz. If your recorder or interface is designed for a different impedance or cannot supply the required drive level, this microphone will not perform correctly.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the PO-500 Receiver is operating correctly after connecting it?

Measure impedance at 500 Ohms and verify frequency response between 20Hz and 3500Hz; distortion should stay below 1% at 1mW and 1kHz.

What comes with the PO-500 Receiver and what must I purchase separately?

The unit includes a metal 1/4" nubbin and metal base; cables, preamp, stand or interface are not included.

Which version of the PO-500 Receiver should I choose for my application?

Only the 500 Ohm #303 model is listed; select it when you need that specific impedance and frequency range.
