Direct-Drive Turntable with USB Output

The Audio-Technica AT-LP120XUSB-BK is a fully manual direct-drive turntable built for vinyl enthusiasts who want both analogue playback and digital archiving. It serves listeners who value hands-on control over automatic operation and need a single deck that connects to a computer or a traditional hi-fi system.

Selectable Phono Preamp and Three Speeds

The built-in selectable phono preamplifier lets you feed a line-level signal to any amplifier, while the DC servo motor locks to 33, 45 or 78 RPM for every record in your collection. This combination decides whether the deck fits a setup that lacks a dedicated phono stage and a library that spans multiple speeds.

Low-Vibration Motor and Balanced Tonearm

The direct-drive DC servo motor minimises mechanical noise, and the S-shaped tonearm with hydraulically damped lift keeps tracking smooth during play. An adjustable dynamic anti-skate control and variable pitch with quartz lock maintain stable rotation, so background rumble stays low during extended listening or recording sessions.

Questions about this item

What does the 33/45/78 RPM speed range mean for my record collection?

The direct-drive DC servo motor lets you play standard LPs at 33 RPM, singles at 45 RPM and older shellac discs at 78 RPM without changing belts.

How does the USB output work with the selectable phono preamp for digitising vinyl?

Connect the USB cable to a computer, choose the preamp setting that matches your software input level, then record using Audacity or any recording application.

What space and mounting clearance does the turntable need on a shelf?

The chassis measures 452 x 352 x 141.6 mm, so allow at least that footprint plus room for the hinged dust cover to open fully.
