Belt-drive turntable with Ortofon OM10 elliptical cartridge, servo speed control and 0.07% wow/flutter
The Fluance RT82B is a belt-drive turntable finished in bamboo and supplied with an Ortofon OM10 elliptical cartridge. It is built for listeners who want a pure analog signal path without digital processing or wireless features. The high-mass MDF plinth and metal platter form a stable platform for accurate groove tracking.
A precision servo motor with an optical sensor continuously measures platter velocity and corrects drift to maintain 0.07% wow and flutter. The motor is decoupled from the plinth so mechanical vibration does not reach the stylus. This design keeps pitch steady during extended listening sessions rather than only during brief playback.
The MDF wood cabinet adds mass to resist external vibration while adjustable resonance-damping feet decouple the turntable from its support surface. An S-shaped tonearm provides balanced tracking across the record groove. Buyers who need a built-in phono preamp or USB output will need to add those components separately.

The servo-controlled belt-drive motor is decoupled from the plinth and uses an optical sensor to hold wow and flutter at 0.07%, keeping rumble and vibration away from the cartridge.
The OM10 is a moving-magnet cartridge, so you need a phono preamp or an amplifier with a built-in MM phono input — the turntable has no internal electronics in the signal path.
The balanced S-shaped tonearm is designed for accurate groove tracking, and the OM10's elliptical diamond traces the groove walls precisely, helping it handle older pressings cleanly.
