Audio-Technica AT8132 Windscreen for AT835ST

SKU CH-PZNF-58EEH

A high-quality windscreen engineered for the AT835ST stereo shotgun microphone to reduce wind noise and proximity effect during outdoor recording

  • Reduces wind noise with dedicated AT835ST fit
  • Minimises proximity effect for clearer dialogue capture
  • Durable build withstands demanding outdoor conditions
  • Improves recording quality in windy environments
  • Essential accessory for professional audio production

Purpose-Built Windscreen

The Audio-Technica AT8132 is a dedicated windscreen engineered exclusively for the AT835ST stereo shotgun microphone. It targets field recordists, broadcasters and streaming enthusiasts who need to capture clean dialogue or ambience in open-air environments where wind interference is unavoidable.

Compatibility Check

Before ordering, confirm that the microphone in your kit is the AT835ST model; the AT8132 is shaped and sized for that specific stereo shotgun and will not fit other Audio-Technica or third-party microphones. No adapters or alternative mounting options are supplied.

Build Integration

The windscreen slides directly over the microphone capsule, adding a layer of acoustic protection without requiring external power, cables or additional hardware. It preserves the AT835ST’s native pickup pattern while suppressing gust noise and proximity effect, freeing the operator to position the mic closer to the sound source in challenging conditions.
