In-Line Phantom Power Module

The Audio-Technica AT8531 supplies 9 to 52V phantom power to compatible condenser microphones. It accepts a TB3-male input and provides a standard 3-pin XLR-male output. The unit is designed for Audio-Technica gooseneck and overhead models including the AT803b, AT831b, ATM73a, ATM75, U841A, U851A, U853A(W) and U857A(W)U. It operates on AA batteries for portable use.

Compact Build With Belt Clip

Measuring 3.27 by 2.48 by 0.87 inches, the module adds minimal bulk to a signal chain. A sturdy belt clip secures the unit to clothing or gear, keeping connections stable during mobile recording or installed applications. The rugged housing protects the internal circuitry from handling noise and environmental interference.

Low-Frequency Roll-Off And Battery Operation

A built-in low-frequency roll-off switch reduces structure-borne rumble and wind noise at the source. Battery power eliminates the need for external phantom supplies, simplifying location setups where AC power is unavailable. The accessory bundle includes the belt clip for immediate deployment.
