Audio-Technica ATH-GDL3WH Open-Back Gaming Headset White 45 mm 220 g

Open-Back Headset for Spatial Audio

The Audio-Technica ATH-GDL3WH is an open-back gaming headset designed for players who value accurate sound placement. Its 45 mm drivers deliver high-resolution audio across an expansive sound field. Weighing under 220 g, it remains comfortable during extended sessions. A detachable boom microphone with directional pickup ensures clear voice communication.

Suited for Competitive Play, Not Noise Isolation

This headset suits gamers who rely on precise audio cues to locate opponents in competitive titles. The open-back design creates a wide soundstage but does not block external noise. Buyers who need passive isolation for loud environments or prefer a closed-back sound signature should look at a different design. The lightweight build favours long wear over heavy bass impact.

45 mm Drivers and Dual 3.5 mm Cables

The 45 mm driver size determines the headset’s resolution and detail retrieval for positional audio. Two detachable cables are included: a 3.0 m cable with separate 3.5 mm mic and headphone plugs for computers, and a 1.2 m TRRS cable for consoles. Volume dial and mute switch sit on the left earcup. Earpads and headpad detach for replacement.
