USB-C wired on-ear headphones

The Audio-Technica ATH-S120C connects directly to USB-C devices without an adapter. A fixed cable carries both power and digital audio up to 32-bit and 48 kHz sampling. In-line controls handle playback, volume and calls. The lightweight frame folds flat for simple storage.

Everyday listeners and mobile workers

Suits anyone who wants a single plug-and-play headset for music, conferencing and light gaming on phones, tablets or laptops. The omnidirectional condenser microphone captures speech clearly during calls. Buyers who need wireless freedom, active noise cancellation or a detachable cable should look at other models.

32-bit 48 kHz digital audio over USB-C

This specification defines the maximum resolution the built-in DAC can process from the host device. It ensures high-fidelity playback for streaming services and local files without relying on the device's own headphone jack. If your source only outputs analogue or requires a higher sampling rate, this headset will not meet that requirement.

Questions about this item

Which USB-C headphone model should I pick for a compact, fold-flat design with in-line controls?

The ATH-S120C in Light Violet is the only model offered here; it folds flat, weighs little, and includes an in-line mic with playback and volume controls.

What does the 32-bit / 48 kHz spec mean when I plug these into my laptop?

The built-in DAC processes digital audio at 32-bit depth and a 48 kHz sample rate, so music and calls play back at that resolution without extra drivers.

Does the USB-C connection work straight away on both iOS and Android phones?

Yes, the headphones are fully compatible with iOS and Android and operate plug-and-play on computers, requiring no software installation.
