Audio-Technica BP892xcH Omnidirectional Condenser Headworn Microphone cH 4-Pin -43 dB Black

Professional Headworn Microphone

The Audio-Technica BP892xcH is an omnidirectional condenser microphone designed for professional broadcast, stage and presentation use. It captures audio from 20 Hz to 20 kHz with a sensitivity of -43 dB and a 63 dB signal-to-noise ratio. The unit weighs only .09 oz and mounts securely on a dual-ear frame for stable positioning during long sessions. A detachable 55-inch cable terminates in a cH-style 4-pin screw-down connector for wireless body-pack integration.

Ideal for Spoken-Word Applications

This microphone suits speakers, broadcasters and performers who need hands-free operation with natural sound reproduction and high noise rejection. The lightweight build and moisture guards support extended wear in active environments. It is not intended for users requiring a handheld form factor or a standalone USB interface for direct computer connection. Buyers needing a different connector type must source a compatible detachable cable separately.

Wireless System Integration

The cH-style 4-pin connector plugs directly into Audio-Technica cH-compatible wireless body-pack transmitters, completing a cable-free setup for stage or studio work. The field-replaceable cable design allows quick repairs without tools, while the included AT8440 cable clip secures the run along the headset frame. A detachable cable architecture also frees users to swap terminations for other wireless ecosystems as needs change.
